For 36 years, Modern Auto Body had dedicated itself to providing our customers with the utmost in customer service, and highest quality collision repairs. We are looking to hire an experienced Auto Body Estimator.

Salary + Commision: $68,000 - $90,000

Responsibilities:

Greet customers in a prompt and courteous manner.

Obtain vehicle information to complete an estimate/repair plan utilizing CCC1.

Clearly explain repair estimate details with customer.

Thoroughly estimate the time and costs associated with every repair.

Coordinate with insurance companies, submit supplemental repair work & obtain payments from insurance companies.

Provide repair status updates with vehicle owner throughout the repair process.

Perform other related duties as assigned for providing an excellent customer experience.

The estimator follows the job through the entire process from initial greeting, handling all insurance related communications, overseeing parts ordering through the parts department, keeps customer updated through the process and quality controls the vehicle through repairs to the final delivery.

Skill/Requirements

Must have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under company insurance policy

At least 3 years estimating experience

Prior DRP experience is a plus

Ability to effectively communicate with others, verbal and written

Organization and multi-tasking skills, good time management and adapt easily to fast-paced environment

Personable, friendly attitude

Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time during the estimating and disassembly process

Must be able to walk, bend, push/pull, stoop, kneel, and crouch frequently'
