Automation Coordinator Specialist

Automation Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Build and manage organized files to lay out new and existing automation systems for Farms: API, BOM, configuration files and documentation on Monday.com

• Prepare purchase orders by verifying specifications and price

• Secure approval from the requisitioning department

• Manage purchases by forwarding orders to suppliers and monitoring and expediting orders

• Verify receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered; resolves shipment errors with suppliers

• Dispatch tasks for automation technicians in Washington

• Coordinate with automation team for details pertaining to projects

• Keep detailed records of project status, equipment usage, inventory usage

• Ensure that each irrigation project is executed properly and troubleshoot irrigation failures

• Oversee management of fleet vehicles and equipment rentals

• Provide both on-site and remote support, in rare cases, respond to emergency support calls on Saturday or evenings

• Support growers on agronomical and other aspects

• Test valves, pumps, and other outputs for proper functionality

Qualifications and Skills:

• Management capabilities – leading a team geared for high performance

• Strong communication skills - written and oral

• Must have a passion for customer satisfaction

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent, Associates Degree preferred

• MS & Google computer skills. NetSuite, Monday and FSL preferred but not required, training will be provided

• Technical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to complete assigned tasks under time requirements and seasonal constraints

• Full-time work commitment

• Clear reporting skills - written and oral

• Capable of working autonomously or with little guidance

• Exceptional organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

• Back Office: 1 year (Preferred)
