Mountain Lake Lodge is a historic, rustic, iconic resort located in Southwest Virginia surrounded by beautiful scenic views and 22-miles of hiking trails. We offer our guests a place to unwind and relax in a fun, family friendly environment with great food and drinks!

We are looking for a Bar Manager for our Tavern Bar and outdoor Salt Pond Pub to help create alcoholic beverages for our drink menu, train and give guidance to new and current employees, and create a safe and friendly environment for our guests. This position would also fill in as a Manager on Duty for our Harvest Restaurant.

This is a full-time year-round salaried position with benefits.

This position requires a minimum of two years of experience working as a bartender. Please do not apply if you do not meet these requirements.

· Can work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Job Responsibilities:

· Increases level of guest happiness by delivering exceptional customer service.

· Ensures all health and safety requirements are followed.

· Ensures all Virginia ABC Laws are followed.

· Proactively anticipates guests concerns.

· Responds and resolves guest complaints and questions.

· Creates SOPs for new alcoholic beverages for the Seasonal Drink menu and provides training to bartenders.

· Manages the inventory levels and replenishes as needed.

Qualifications:

· Experience in a leadership role within the Food & Beverage Industry, preferably in a Bar setting.

·Must have at least 2 years of experience as a bartender.

· Knowledge of Virginia ABC Compliance Laws and Guidelines.

· Tips Certification (helpful, but not required).
