Bartender
Bartender needed to work a regular schedule Wednesday through Sunday in our River Walk Restaurant and Bar. Hours are 5pm to close (usually 10pm). Join our food and beverage team and own our bar five days a week. Additional work opportunity available in our banquet department for host and cash bar events. Apply today!

Responsibilities:
- Smiles when on-stage
- Prepares drinks to order using proper portions and ingredients
- Operates computer, gives change, distributes checks, and keeps accurate record of change transactions
- Operates blender and bar equipment
- Requisitions supplies, fruits, and beverages necessary to stock bar
- Maintains a respectful control over guests and servers at all times
- Is trained in Alcohol Awareness Program and assists in ensuring all servers have received such training
- Assists in maintaining bar stocks
- Maintains cleanliness behind bar, storage space, and equipment
- Resourceful with all beverages, fruits, and supplies in order to maintain reasonable liquor cost
- Maintains good customer relations in a courteous and professional manner
- Maintains company standards and ensures beverage preparation is performed according to specified procedures and recipes
- Maintains health and sanitation standards
- Performs special assignments or projects as requested
Educational/Vocational Preparation:
A High School Diploma or GED is required
Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, holidays
- Must have the physical stamina to stand on feet throughout shift
- This position involves a high degree of social skills and ability to perform work under pressure.
- Food service experience desired
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain a pleasant, positive and helpful demeanor
- Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays
