Currently, AHRC Suffolk is hiring clinicians for a Behavior Intervention Specialist position in which they will use their training and experience to improve the behavioral health of those supported by AHRC.

AHRC Suffolk is currently hiring clinicians in our Day Program setting for a 35 hour Behavior Intervention Specialist (BIS) position. We offer a competitive salary based on years of BIS experience and credentials. Current salary for Master Level clinicians ranges from $52,700-$58,000. This clinician will report to the Assistant Director of the Behavioral Health Services Department.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree from a program in a clinical or treatment field of psychology, social work, school psychology, or applied psychology.
  • At least 1 year of experience supporting people with developmental disabilities, including the development, implementation, and monitoring of Behavior Support Plans and/or providing supervision and training to others in the implementation of behavior support plans.
  • Candidates will be required to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 upon commencing employment. Applicants should be aware that for this role, involving contact with vulnerable individuals, accommodations that involve remaining unvaccinated against COVID-19 may not be deemed reasonable. The Agency will engage in the interactive process on an individualized basis.
