The Opportunity

The billing coordinator plays a vital role in the movement of freight for our customers. This role will be auditing invoices, entering invoices for payment, and working with our internal teams to resolve any discrepancies. It will be instrumental in supporting our accounting functions along with providing support in other areas as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and enter freight invoices in for payment
• Work closely with other teams to resolve any billing variances
• Respond to payment requests from carriers and vendors in a timely manner
• Create detailed notes for carriers on statement of accounts and follow up with our vendors to ensure billing discrepancies are fixed

What We Need from You

• Must possess a high level of intellectual curiosity and be solution focused
• Must thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment
• Must be self-motivated, disciplined, highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
• Experience in accounting or logistics is preferred but not required
