Position: Billing Representative

Job Description:

We are looking for a competent Billing Representative. The position will involve multiple billing related duties. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with the ability to prioritize job duties in a high paced environment and carry them out efficiently and accurately.

Core Responsibilities & Duties:

• Daily billing to customer and third parties for intermodal drayage, airfreight services, and line haul services
• Reviewing and ensuring all charges are captured accurately
• Helping in reconciliation of weekly independent contractor/driver pay
• Miscellaneous administrative functions as they relate to billing
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment
• Strong excel skills required
• Trucking/Intermodal experience preferred
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Qualifications:

• Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with candidates and employees
• Strong organization, and prioritization skill set
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Experience analyzing and summarizing data for decision making
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently or in a team environment
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

Skills:

• Ideal candidate will possess a “can do” attitude with a “will do” work ethic
• Interpersonal skills necessary to build effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
• General computer skills - Microsoft Office, Outlook, AS400
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
