SUMMARY:

If you are interested in a serving position, check out FIGS restaurant, located within Hotel Jackson and proudly offering Jackson Hole's only authentic Lebanese cuisine. Breakfast Servers are responsible for creating a friendly, professional environment while serving guests in a manner that is consistent with Hotel Jackson and Forbes 4 Star standards.

We are seeking individuals who understand it's our staff that distinguishes between a good meal and an incredible experience. We are looking for individuals who truly value the uniqueness of each guest and wish to curate a memorable experience that will exceed their expectations. Our ideal candidates will have prior upscale or fine dining restaurant experience, and excellent knowledge of cuisine, wine sales and service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.

• Provide exceptional knowledge of food & beverage menu items as well as information regarding preparation methods.

• Communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen using the hotel’s point-of-sales system.

• Coordinate food timings and check completed kitchen orders with the guest’s original order.

• Responsible for delivering all food and beverage items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.

• Responsible for accurately closing guest checks and processing cash and credit card payments.

• Speak with others using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette

• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and support team to reach common goals.

This position will primarily work breakfast and lunch service.

REQUIRENMENTS:

• High school diploma/GED required; Bachelors preferred
• Previous experience working in a luxury 4 or 5-star hotel or restaurant preffered
• Must be able to work on your feet throughout entire shift;
• Strong customer service skills required. Willing to go above and beyond for guests’ satisfaction;
• Must fluently speak, write and understand English;
• POS software experience is a plus.
