Job description
Under the direction of the Project Manager, the Building Attendant will monitor the building foot traffic and ensure that the main entrance remains secure after normal business hours in accordance with the contract outlined by the County and Management.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
-Monitor persons entering and exiting the facility
-Maintain a sign-in/sign-out sheet to ensure the safety of the personnel in the facility during and after normal business hours.
-Ensure that the main entrance remains secure after normal business hours
-Do routine rounds to make sure all exterior doors are secure
-In the event of an emergency, call 911
-Must be available to work during the hours of 8am – 5pm at the County Buildings that are open on the following holidays:
- Martin Luther King Day
- Lincoln’s Birthday
- President’s Day
- Good Friday
- Columbus Day
- General Election Day
- Veterans’ Day
- Friday following Thanksgiving
-Perform other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
-This position requires a high school degree
-Ability to understand and execute assigned tasks.
-Tuberculosis and drug testing
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating weekends
- Weekend availability
