The Business Analyst position facilitates assigned projects by serving as a liaison between region leaders, setting and communicating goals, and evaluating and refining results.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborates with business staff to thoroughly understand the needs.
• Determines how changes to the project will affect the business, processes, and systems.
• Provides recommendations regarding the evolution of project tracking and reporting.
• Responds to inquiries and provides advice to region leaders regarding current and potential metrics, processes, and reporting.
• Develops and communicates detailed specifications for project tracking and reporting.
• Produces reports, timelines, and graphics to communicate expectations and progress to management and other relevant parties.
• Maintains and ensures proper documentation for processes, metrics, and reporting.
• Collaborates with region leaders and/or Project Manager to ensure needs have been met.
• Maintains current understanding of industry standards, trends, and best practices through industry and other professional networks.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 5 years’ applicable experience in an office environment where confidentiality, tact, diplomacy, and employee interface are a necessity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to change.
• Ability to learn quickly and to creatively solve new problems.
• Ability to act as a team player.
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office package, specifically excel, and third-party vendors are needed to perform duties.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)
• 2-year Associates degree preferred.

Travel Requirements:

• Houston, TX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
• Limited travel as needed.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday
