We are looking for a motivated Business Development Coordinator to join our team in the Sacramento area. This is a full-time salaried position. In this role you will support the Director of Business Development and Marketing to develop high-quality marketing and proposal materials. Deliverables often must be developed within urgent and tight deadlines. The coordinator will be required to proactively engage with a diverse team to compile all information necessary for submission of proposals and firm qualifications material. You will help foster and maintain key client relationships and will need a driver's license and reliable transportation to periodically drive to industry events.
Responsibilities will include working with the S2S team to plan, write, design, and produce proposals to respond to Requests for Proposal, Request for Qualifications, and Sources Sought solicitations by potential clients. The coordinator will also assist in gathering, preparing, and submitting S2S proposal subsections for primes requesting S2S participation in their RFP/RFQ responses. This will require maintaining and updating marketing and business development material including firm profiles, resumes, and project sheets. The coordinator will support business opportunity research across multiple bid platforms and tracking in S2S internal bid tracking system.
The successful candidate for this position will maintain organized marketing and proposal documentation, track progress and schedules, regularly communicate status. Each opportunity and request is unique; therefore the coordinator must pay close attention to detail reviewing and responding to all tasks and client requests.
Marketing support may include drafting new marketing and communication materials, updating the S2S website, and developing new campaigns and marketing strategies to increase visibility across the industry space. Consistent and proactive communication and an inquisitive mindset will be necessary for the coordinate to effectively prioritize tasks, engage the team and meet tight deadlines. Professional appearance and communication skills are requirement.
Qualifications
- BS or BA degree, preferably in an environmental discipline and/or marketing/business.
- At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience supporting bid and proposal development, preferably in the environmental field.
- Understanding of the overall bid and proposal process and life-cycle.
- High fluency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.).
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with IMS, GovWin, PlanetBids or other similar bid platforms.
- Competency in Wordpress and HTML.
- Experience in CRM systems such as the Deltek Suite.
- Adobe Suite or similar software experience in production/graphics development.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
