This posting is for multiple openings of a Call Center Specialist at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK. We offer 8 hour variable shifts, full time opportunities.

Call Center Specialist Food and Nutrition

Under direct supervision provides direct patient interaction while assisting with meal selections, nutritional supplements and snacks within the prescribed medical nutrition therapy guidelines prescribed by the physician over the phone or in person. Provides professional communication with all clinical areas of the facility while ensuring patients and customer needs are being processed and completed in a highly, efficient manner. Ensures correct food types and diets within the prescribed medical nutrition therapy guidelines prescribed by the physician are being served to the right patient in a timely manner and patient requests are being met.

Hours: Full Time, 1.0, Variable, 40 Hours Per Week

Up to $1,500 Sign-On Bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Required qualifications:

• Municipality of Anchorage Food Handler Card - or- ServSafe Card within thirty (30) days of hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within ninety (90) days of hire

Preferred qualifications:

• Associate's degree in food service science and nutrition or related field
• One (1) year experience in a health care facility food service operation
