Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in capture, business development, management consulting, software sales, or account management at a business-to-business software company, or analogous company.
- Experience with technology procurement, acquisition, contracting, operating dynamics, business customs, and technology policies of public sector entities in the government.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience building compelling program strategies.
- Experience in cyber security technology, innovation, program business, with public sector organizations including federal, state, local, and education.
- Knowledge of communications, procurement, acquisition, legal, compliance, or regulatory matters in the public sector.
- Possess a US Government-issued security clearance.

As the Capture Manager, you will lead Google’s capture strategy for business opportunities with US Public Sector Government customers. You will work in a collaborative environment that values insight, creative thinking, problem-solving, intellectual curiosity, and a growth mindset. You'll partner with industry leading professionals to bring procurement expertise, tools, methodologies, and sound judgment to business units. Also, you will work closely with internal business resources, procurement stakeholders, legal, and channel partner stakeholders to ensure all solicitation responses and third-party contracts meet Google’s contracting standards and requirements.
As the lead for capturing new business opportunities, this role is essential in the execution of an agreement to manage and mitigate risk and lay out the responsibilities of the parties. You will set pricing, discuss business and sales agreements for cloud and professional services sales. You'll work directly with customers to develop contract strategies that enable them to meet their organizational goals.

Additonal Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $149,000-$236,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Develop the capture strategy and implement the federal, state, local, and education capture strategy.
