• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions
• Assesses, plans, implements patient procedure care.
• Reacts accordingly to emergency situations. Must respond to STEMIs within 30 minutes when on-call.
• Scrubs/assists physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic studies
• Communicates pre/post procedure education to the patient/family
• Active participation in precepting new employees and shares knowledge with peers
• Active participation in mandatory departmental continuous quality improvement
• Provides hemodynamic monitoring assistance during procedures and understands valve areas/pressures
• Provides accurate detailed documentation while monitoring/recording procedures in the Hemodynamic Monitoring System
• Prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments
• Maintain necessary knowledge to perform daily duties in procedure area by furthering education as needed
• Supports the facility’s Standards of Performance and ICARE values

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Certificate, or Associate Degree
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT), or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
