Cascade Health Services is currently seeking a professional Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our Monday - Friday / 2:00pm - 10:00pm Shift.
Responsibilities
- Follow established facility policies and procedures to administer medications to residents in accordance with physician’s orders.
- Provide care to residents following facility policies and procedures. ·
- Report residents’ needs and concerns to a licensed nurse.
- Requisition adequate medications and supplies to administer mediations in a timely manner. ·
- Participate in supervision of care provided to residents.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must hold a current permit as a Medication Aide (MA) and a current CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification valid in the State of Texas and be in good standing.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience with medication aide duties preferred.
- Physical & sensory abilities commensurate with this position to include but not limited to frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
- Must be fully COIVD19 vaccinated
