Our Marketing & Enablement team is expanding! We are seeking an innovative Channel Marketing Coordinator to assist with planning and overseeing the implementation of our marketing strategies across our partner channels. This includes introduction and ongoing management of partner campaigns, content and collateral coordination and creation, direct marketing activities, awareness, and promotional campaigns, and both partner and channel events. To ensure success, you should demonstrate extensive knowledge of channel marketing strategies and experience in a related telecommunications industry. The Channel Marketing Coordinator must be an organized multitasker and able to handle many diverse projects at once while meeting tight deadlines. Excellent project management and communication skills a must.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of the company’s brand strategy
- Work closely with both the Marketing Team and Sales to create and drive channel initiatives
- Assist in creation, proofreading, and editing copy for marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice
- Assist with the development, execution, and monitoring of digital, social media, and content marketing campaigns.
- Assist Marketing Manager with development of strategic plans for channel promotions and/or marketing plans to help drive specific channel sales goals.
- Maintain a directory and inventory of sales support materials, ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials as needed
- Continually seek and research new sources of prospective customer data, and provide recommendations to sales and marketing leadership
- Conduct regular partner website audits and facilitate content updates.
- He or She will act as the intermediary between creative and account teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years experience in marketing, advertising, or communications or related field.
- Past work experience as a marketing coordinator or similar role.
- Related telecommunication industry experience
Skills:
- Strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills.
- Basic knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.
- Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Flexible, detail-oriented self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment, operating both independently as well as part of a team.
- Good team player, ability to communicate effectively and proactively.
- Willingness to take initiative, share ideas and find creative ways to solve problems
- The successful candidate shall exhibit a sense of ownership, urgency, be solution orientated, collaborative and accountable.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and maximum self-motivation, while maintaining the responsibility to indicate areas of need to management.
*Position can be in office at head quarters located in Mechanicsville, VA or remote.*
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 per year
