Salary: $19.00 an hour

Schedule: Remote with occasional hours in state-licensed facilities. The hours of work for this position are varied, but typically are Monday through Friday during the business hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.

This position provides assistance to State Licensing Liaisons to complete the licensing process for residential facilities, shelters, group homes, kinship homes, and child-placing agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the state licensors in reviewing SIR’s and make recommendations.
  • Assist the state licensors with conducting verification visits.
  • Adhere to specifications provided through DCF and PSG training.
  • Use utilized knowledge to conduct licensing in accordance with Wisconsin Administrative Code Chapters DCF 56, DCF 54, DCF 52, DCF 57, and DCF 59.
  • Collect information as required.
  • Provide technical assistance to facilities.
  • Assist State Licensors in entering documentation into the state system.
  • Process initial and continuation applications.
  • Assist with open records requests and Legislative Audit Bureau audits.
  • Support conversions in court as necessary.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of resource and training materials as directed.
  • Be available via phone to assist with any questions or concerns of licensors or facilities.
  • Complete proper documentation per program standards and within established timeframes.
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle safely and obey all traffic laws.
  • Safely transport clients as needed
Requirements:
  • Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and automobile insurance.

Education and Training:

  • Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or other related fields; or, at minimum, five years of experience/training related to child welfare.
