Job description
The purpose of this job is the first review process of new DDA accounts (Checking, Savings, CD’s and Safe Deposit Box), to ensure they were opened according to BSA, U.S. Patriot Act, Compliance and Bank policy. That all required documentation has been received for said accounts. Processing and verifying maintenance performed at the branch level: address changes, product type changes, transfer setup and removal, OD protection and removal, CD maintenance, SDB maintenance, and various other maintenance. Assisting the branches and various departments with questions and problems related to CIS.
Responsibilities:- Reviewing all new account packets for styling, coding, signatures and documentation received. All this is accomplished by using M&I, Case Manager, Document Image Content Management and Atlas.
- Processing change of style/authorized signer. This is a manual process with attention to detail a must.
- Reviewing various maintenance forms received from the branches for accuracy and applied correctly to accounts.
- Loading ticklers for various errors: styling, missing documentation, etc. Then the removal of ticklers as presented once reviewed for accuracy.
- Process address changes on an hourly basis as assigned.
- Activating dormant accounts on a daily basis, while following Audit guidelines.
- Assisting the branches and other departments with questions and problems.
- Complete the loading of online accounts as applications are presented.
- Cross training in all areas to ensure work is being processed when short staffed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school education
- Banking experience preferred
- M&I, Atlas, and deposit account knowledge preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Good communication skills via phone and email
- Detailed oriented
- Time management to prioritize workload
- Work independently without close supervision
