We are seeking a motivated Civil/Site Engineer (PE) to join our group and be a part of this historic growth.

Opportunity

This position will offer the opportunity to work on a variety of energy projects spanning multiple states, multiple clients and presenting unique challenges. Our Team is staffed with industry experts who are passionate about mentoring the next generation of designers and teaching vital skills for becoming a successful engineer. Given the wide range of projects and clients, our engineers are exposed to a number of different practices which allow them to not only become well rounded, but also to find a specialty they have interest in. Work will vary from project to project with new opportunities presenting themselves all the time. Work consists of the design of substation pads, grading and drainage work, horizontal and vertical utility design and various other client driven task. Working side by side with proven experts and professionals will establish a very strong base to build off of and allow for growth. This Team is expanding with additional expansion expected over the next few years. This allows for lots of potential for upward mobility once experience has been gained, and possible management opportunities in the near future!

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a diverse design Team to provide design services across a variety of practices.
  • Lead design or help design complex energy driven civil projects. These could include site design and preparation, drainage and BMP design, horizontal and vertical utility design and various other projects.
  • Work in several design programs to perform engineering and design tasks.
  • Apply knowledge to calculations pertaining to design.
  • Build engineering estimates for projects.
  • Assist project staff as needed for a variety of projects.
  • Mentor less experienced staff.
  • Aid in the writing of proposals as well as scheduling and budgeting of projects.

Qualifications

  • BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 4-12 years of experience.
  • PE License or ability to obtain within a year of employment.
  • Experience in Civil 3D or Microstation required.
  • Experience working on utility projects or site-civil related projects.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects, across multiple teams and disciplines
