RPA San Diego operates as a third-party administration (TPA), consulting, and strategic management branch for collectively bargained benefit plans, pooled purchasing arrangements, and trusts. Our mission is to deliver high quality, affordable, and accessible health care to our members. We are looking for a client benefits administrator to join our growing team. This is a full-time hybrid position. You will be working in the office 1-2 days per week and the rest from home. Our office is located at 1843 Hotel Circle South, Suite 300, San Diego, 92108. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Coordinate the administration of employee benefit programs such as basic and major medical coverage, dental insurance, group life insurance, pension plans, and other benefits for the client.
- Process enrollment and change forms or data eligibility files including data entry of member information.
- Maintain benefits records and documents.
- Serve as point of contact for designated clients/districts and provide customer service support to members.
- Review, correct, and distribute monthly invoices to clients, as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree and 1-year related experience.

- Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States. For U.S. employment opportunities, Gallagher hires U.S. citizens, permanent residents, asylees, refugees, and temporary residents. Temporary residence does not include those with non-immigrant work authorization (F, J, H or L visas), such as students in practical training status. Exceptions to these requirements will be determined based on shortage of qualified candidates with a particular skill. Gallagher will require proof of work authorization
- Must be willing to execute Gallagher's Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement, which require, among other things, post-employment obligations relating to non-solicitation, confidentiality and non-disclosure
