Position Summary

The primary responsibility of the Client Liaison is to work closely operationally with current clients to ensure their satisfaction with GetixHealth’s Statement of Work. The Client Liaison works both directly with onshore/offshore resources. The position holder has full access to all electronic protected health information (EPHI).

Position Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Operations to maintain oversight of medical billing and coding functions.
  • Maintain consistent and frequent contact with clients to keep them informed of account activity.
  • Maintain effective client satisfaction by addressing client questions and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Work with Client Services if applicable, operational leadership, to address areas of concern, improve efficiencies and ensure account profitability.
  • Develop and/or research and recommend solutions to expand the scope and duration of services provided to the client and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Analyze monthly and custom reports specifically catered to client needs.
  • Oversee implementation of new client accounts.
  • Maintain professional affiliations and enhance professional growth and development to keep current in the latest trends in medical billing, coding and reimbursement and staff development as needed.
  • Maintains strictest confidentiality.
  • Perform other related work as required.
  • Participate in compliance education and activities.
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

  • Three to five years of experience demonstrating effective operational management within the medical billing and physician practice management environment.
  • Strong physician and client service experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Extensive working knowledge of overall revenue cycle management, medical billing policies, procedures and concepts.
  • Must be adept at public speaking and presenting information to groups.
  • Sound decision making ability.
  • Thorough knowledge of regulations affecting medical billing and coding and healthcare delivery.
  • Proficient with multiple practice management systems. Proven oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and ability to lead, challenge and motivate staff.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills including identifying trends, analyzing data that affects revenue cycle matters, and reporting those findings, making recommendations where needed.
  • Strong organizational and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, take initiative and demonstrate a creative approach as situations require.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to deal with complex situations.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with staff, principals, clients and outside vendors.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Work environment is an office location. The position requires the dexterity to operate office equipment such as a personal computer, keyboard, mouse and telephone
  • Occasional lifting may be required up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time with frequent bending and stooping

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
