Major Responsibilities
- Clinical supervision of graduate and undergraduate students enrolled in on- and off-campus practicum. Clinical experiences include screenings, diagnostics, and therapy.
- Teaching of one course could be considered based on the needs of the department.
- Demonstrate a broad range of clinical experiences across the lifespan.
- Assessment and intervention experiences should include the following: AAC, autism, voice, fluency, aphasia, adult communication disorders, early childhood and school-age speech and language disorders
- Demonstrate strong clinical writing skills
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and professional skills with students, clients, families, colleagues and other professionals.
Functional and Supervisory Relationships
- Works under the direct supervision of the Department Chair and Clinic Director.
- Works closely with faculty and staff within the department.
- Additional working relationships with faculty and staff in other college departments when appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Communication Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology or its equivalent.
- American Speech-Language-Hearing Association’s (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in speech-language pathology.
- New York State License in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Three years’ experience in speech-language pathology.
- At least 2 CEUs in Supervision prior to start date.

- Clinical supervisory experience
- Evidence of a commitment to promoting a diverse academic environment.
