Glen Ellyn Youth and Family Counseling Service is seeking a clinical therapist to provide counseling to individuals, couples and families. Glen Ellyn Youth and Family Counseling Service has been providing mental health services in the larger Glen Ellyn community since the late 1970’s. Our mission is to strengthen families through counseling, education and related support services; no individual or family is denied services based on an inability to pay. LOCATION: Glen Ellyn, Illinois SUPERVISOR: Executive Director WORK SCHEDULE: Option for Full-time (40 hours) or Part-time (10-20) hours per week; includes evening office hours 1-2 days (specific days are flexible) per week depending on need SUMMARY: Work with individuals, couples and families to address emotional, behavioral and relational issues and to promote mental health.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Clinical (75%) Provide direct clinical services to clients across the lifespan in office or via Telemental health, employing appropriate modality Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop treatment plans collaboratively with all clients Coordinate collaborative case management services with external community partners (schools, hospitals, psychiatrists, police) as needed, including advocacy, referral and coordinating services on behalf of client Complete client outcome measures for funding partners and for service evaluation Document client case notes, assessments and other clinical documentation in client database daily Maintain direct client service expectation of 60%; Community Outreach (15%) Develop and facilitate short term psycho-educational groups and community presentations as appropriate Maintain regular relational contacts with specified community partners Represent agency by attending community meetings as needed; Additional Duties and Responsibilities (10%) Attend all required agency meetings and trainings Participate in clinical supervision and actively seek supervision and direction as needed Maintain the highest ethical standards and follow the Social Work Code of Ethics Utilize staff and other professional resources for continued clinical learning Support the Mission of Glen Ellyn Youth and Family Counseling Service Abide by all GEYFCS policies and procedures Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a team member Other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology. Clinical license (LCSW or LCPC) a plus. Minimum of two year’s clinical experience Experience working with diverse populations and age groups Valid driver’s license and be willing to travel locally to provide school-based or communitybased clinical services. Demonstrated ability to maintain a clinical caseload in an outpatient setting Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office Complete all required DCFS checks and authorizations COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Compensation based on experience LCSW supervision provided Travel reimbursed at federal mileage rate Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 1 - 3 years Bonus/Commission: No
