POSITION SUMMARY

Are you passionate about strategy and technology? Are you self-organizing, motivated, and client focused? We are looking for a Mid-Level Cloud Architect who will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and executing a go to market strategy for Aleut’s technology organization. This includes partnering with internal and external teams to develop scalable, flexible, and cutting-edge assets, solutions, and thought leadership pieces to support our clients on their digital transformation journey. You will bring a unique mixture of business and technology expertise developing cloud architecture plans that define how technology can create value for our clients. You will have both business and technology acumen working alongside client leadership to define strategies and opportunities in technology. As a Technology professional, you will develop innovative solutions and approaches. You will identify the most important cloud needs and help to develop a sustainable plan in the cloud.

Essential Job Functions:

• Collaborate within a project team to solve complex problems
• Create scripts and templates for automatic provisioning of resources
• Enjoy learning new technologies quickly
• Design and Deploy Cloud services in a high-performance production environment
• Ability to work independently on project tasks
• Ability to talk to the progress and results of a project
• Provide solutions to complex problems
• Support senior clients and assist in establishing and implementing a vision, roadmap and governance to address present business needs and support future growth
• Determine where clients can leverage technology for the greatest strategic impact
• Remain up to date on innovative solutions, as well as provide coaching for junior consultants inside the practice

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of technical experience working with databases, compute, storage and networks on one or more of the following platforms: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Vmware or Oracle Cloud Platform
• Experience working with containerization tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, or other technologies

• Worked on or implemented a Cloud migration project a plus.
• Obtained relevant Cloud certifications such as Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect or AWS Cloud Practitioner
• Worked with container and serverless technologies (ie: AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions, Azure Functions etc)
