Job Details:

· Salary: Negotiable (Depending on experience) - $2,500 Sign-on Bonus

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Create and maintain multi-axis CNC programs to produce parts using CAD/CAM software (Mastercam) working together with Process Engineers.

· Able to use machine simulation software to ensure collision free code. (Vericut)

· Consults with supervisors, other programmers, and end users to gather information about program intent, functions, features, data requirements, input requirements, output requirements, internal and external checks and controls, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems.

· Assists with the development of concepts and methods for solving milling/machining problems.

· Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or questions with programs.

· Able to S/U and run CNC mills (Mazak and Fanuc controls) as needed to support new product introduction and continuous improvement efforts. (A-plus)

· Design work holding and fixtures in SolidWorks. (A-plus)

· Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

· Have a minimum of 5 years of Mastercam experience.

· Experience with GD&T.

· Self-Starter / Self-Motivated / Flexible / Detail-Oriented.

· Reliable and dependable.

· Positive internal and customer focused attitude.

· Must enjoy fast pace and rapidly changing environment.

· Strong ability to organize, prioritize and communicate.

· Champion projects to ensure meeting customer delivery.

· Able to follow and documents CNC Programs per company procedures.

Knowledge and Skills:

· Requires special technical knowledge of the techniques and procedures of software and network support for multiple users.

· Must understand installation, configuration and troubleshooting processes for software, hardware, networking and accessory equipment.

Abilities:

· Requires the ability to independently perform all of the duties of the position efficiently and effectively.

· Must be able to install, configure, troubleshoot and maintain all of the software applications and peripheral equipment used at the college.

· Must have strong communication and training skills and be able to communicate technical information to non-technical users.

Language Skills

· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

Reasoning Ability

· Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Physical Demands

· Depending on the assignment, may require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; or the ability to stand, walk and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate

· Work is performed indoors with air conditioning some potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to electronics work.
