Code Team Specialist - Inpatient
Description:
Responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of a therapeutic environment for patients experiencing emotional disturbance. Demonstrates competency with interventions and clinical judgment based on unit population and age specific needs to improve outcomes. Effective at communicating between inpatient staff, ambulatory staff, CODE Team, and Security. Provides individualized education and support to inpatient staff to improve early recognition and effective mitigation of risk.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a psychosocial science or related field; OR 5 years experience in the behavioral health field; OR Nursing Student with an Associate's degree who has been accepted and is currently attending an accredited School of Nursing
- Has been an employee of Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute for at least 1 year
- Maintain certification/education as required (e.g. Nonviolent Crisis Prevention and Intervention, CPR, etc.)
- Has 1-2 years experience leading teams specialized in Crisis Prevention, demonstrating knowledge and effective application of advanced Crisis Prevention Skills

Schedule:
- PRN (as needed) positions available
- Flex schedules include daytime, evening, and weekend hours.
