POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for installing commercial electrical wiring, recessed lighting, and electrical components according to local and NEC codes.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR A RESIDENTIAL ELECTRICIAN?
2 + Years of Commercial Electrical Experience
Ability to bend and install pipe
Must be able to terminate boxes, run conduit and wire receptacles
A Valid Driver’s License and clean Motor Vehicle Report.
Must possess own hand tools and power tools to execute electrical jobs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cutting, bending, threading, and running 1/2" & 3/4", 1" electrical conduit materials
Terminating electrical panels, set fixtures, outlets, and various electrical devices
Install EMT, PVC, GRC, and other conduit and cable systems
Install panels, disconnect, meters, and other gear-related items
Interpret and install building lighting controls
Always maintaining safety standards.
All other duties as assigned by the supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:
Working knowledge of National Electrical Codes
Ability to interpret basic drawings and plans
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Self-motivated and driven to get the job done quickly and to the best of their ability.
Good work ethic and willingness to learn new methods.
