We are currently looking to hire a Community Education Liaison for our Saint Francis Memorial Hospital Hyperbaric Program.

JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the center's program director, the Community Education Liaison (CEL) will act as the liaison between referring healthcare providers in the community and the hyperbaric center. This position will support the hyperbaric center by creating and executing a strategic community education plan to increase the community's awareness of the benefits of Hyperbaric Oxygen and how it aids in healing. This is done through a variety of efforts, including but not limited to direct physician contacts, health fairs, community education events at senior centers, and other public venues. Due to the autonomous nature of the position, it is essential for the CEL to hold him/herself accountable to set goals, effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Self-motivation and drive are essential to be successful in this position.
DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:
- Creates and executes an annual, quarterly, and monthly wound program strategic marketing plan by collaborating with the Wound Care Program Director and Medical Director.
- Conducts personal visits to referral sources. Ensures he/she meets established weekly visit goals set forth by the Program Director. Spends 75% of the time out in the field (approximately 30 hours per week).
- Maintains an effective system to document and monitor calls, visits and activities. Documentation of activities (e.g. check-ins, calls) are done in real-time in a tracking system.
- Organizes and performs in-service presentations, lunch-and-learns, lectures, hospital fairs, and other community activities to raise awareness of wound center services.
- Develops and maintains a strong relationship with referring providers through phone calls and face-to-face interactions.
- Additional duties and functions of the position will be discussed during the interview process.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a marketing-related area.
- At least three years of experience in healthcare.
- Computer skills: MAC and/or PC; Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational skills, and oral and written communication skills.
- Fully vaccinated against the Covid-19 virus in accordance with Federal CDC and State/Local regulatory guidance.
