Summary
Responsible for the design, implementation and management of market competitive compensation programs including benchmarking analysis, FLSA reviews and compensation projects. This role will help lead the administration of the company’s annual merit and performance bonus program and will serve as a compensation resource to internal teams. Using best practices, you will ensure that our compensation program is competitive, enabling us to attract and retain talent, incent the right behaviors, drive business results, and do your part to enhance an employee-friendly culture. Description
- Manage the compensation function: perform benchmarking analysis (evaluate job function/wages/salaries for market competitiveness and internal equity), help design effective incentive programs for a variety of clinical and corporate roles including implementing controls and scalability for the future.
- Point of contact for all compensation questions, guide and support leaders, perform ad-hoc compensation analysis organization wide as needed
- Partner with clinical and corporate leaders, as well as compensation committees to administer compensation programs and ensure they are in line with operational expectations
- Drive annual employee compensation activities, including the merit review cycle, bonus payments, promotions, market adjustments, ad hoc reward and recognition programs
- Understand the healthcare/urgent care market and talent competitors to effectively perform compensation analysis/benchmarking activities
- Implement innovative technology, tools, and processes to administer compensation program; support business needs and enable data-driven decision making
- Monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation practices. Provide key findings throughout the year and recommend changes that are cost- effective and consistent with compensation trends and company objectives
- Own the communications strategy and plan for compensation
- Work closely with the Finance team to provide detailed analysis and modeling for monthly, quarterly, and annual planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7+ years of relevant experience in compensation planning/administration required; healthcare environment experience strongly desired
- Strong analytical, mathematical, statistical, and conceptual skills; Excel and modeling proficiency
- Knowledge/Experience working in HCM or HRIS systems, Workday strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills across all levels. Ability to distill and present information into formats for various audiences to comprehend
- Proven leadership skills as a business partner and manager. Desire to lead and drive, as well as work hands-on and independently.
