Position will assist VP-Compliance – Hospital Operations and Compliance Officers in the field with management and execution of key compliance oversight activities.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Assist in managing and responding to hospital and TPR compliance inquiries.
• Assist in organizing data for the various hospital and TPR compliance programs.
• Assist in development of auditing, monitoring, and implementation tools for Compliance Officers.
• Assist in covering Compliance Officer positions during vacancies.
• Assist with administrative activities associated with Compliance Operations and enterprise-wide compliance initiatives, including preparation of agenda and presentation materials, preparation of minutes, and coordination of any follow-up arising from such meetings.
• Assist with preparation and oversight of the hospital and TPR compliance workplan and program initiatives.
• Assist with conducting auditing and monitoring activities related to the hospital and TPR compliance programs.
• Assist with conducting hospital and TPR compliance risk assessments.
• Assist with Compliance Officer onboarding activities.
• Support the Compliance Champion (CC) Network to include management of CC monthly education sessions, management of monthly updates to CC DL’s and roster, providing general administrative support.
• Participation in auditing and monitoring activities, such as physician wRVU audits, referral source audits (data gathering/sampling) and physician practice space walk-throughs.
• Conducting preliminary fact gathering and assessment of reported issues and contemporaneous documentation of such efforts.
• Assisting in the implementation of corrective action plans resulting from investigations or other identified issues.
• Assisting with administrative activities associated with Compliance Committees, including preparation of agenda and presentation materials, preparation of minutes, and coordination of any follow-up arising from Committee sessions.
• Assisting with preparation and oversight of TPR compliance education and training initiatives.
• Assistance with conducting compliance risk assessments.
• Facilitate development and publication of physician practice newsletter.
• Develop compliance dashboards, data analytic spreadsheets.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required.
• 3 – 5 years of health care industry or equivalent experience required, preferably in the hospital and/or physician practice setting.
• Self-starter initiative and positive attitude required.
• Ability to travel 10-15% required.
• Certified Professional Coder or equivalent recommended.
