King & Spalding, a leading global law firm, seeks a Conflicts Analyst to join our Conflicts & Business Review Department. The Conflicts Analyst will work closely with the Conflicts and New Business Intake team and will report to the Conflicts Analyst Manager and Senior Conflicts Analysts. Available shift is 11:30 am – 8 pm ET. Overtime may be required as determined by the Conflicts Analyst Manager.

Candidates will have the following responsibilities:
- Generate a conflicts search and prepare a conflict report and analysis of conflict information to facilitate new business intake review and lateral hiring.
- Review conflict hits, removing inapplicable results and raising any potential conflicts to the Department’s attorney team.
- Search certain external resources to assist in the preparation of the conflicts search and provide additional research as determined by department protocol.
- Understand the Rules of Professional Conduct and evaluate potential legal or business conflicts presented by new business coming to the firm.
- Communicate with firm lawyers and personnel regarding conflict searches and the new business intake system.
- Clear securities trade requests by running conflict reports and reaching out to firm lawyers as applicable to clear trade requests submitted by firm personnel.
- Other duties as assigned.
Successful candidates are detail-oriented, self-motivated, great multi-taskers, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have fast typing skills. Candidates should have strong research skills and must demonstrate the ability to problem solve and communicate with all levels of personnel. Two years of prior conflicts or law firm experience is preferred. Bachelor’s degree, Juris Doctorate or paralegal degree/certificate is preferred.

Colorado & New York applicants: Full-time annualized salary range $59,000 - $83,000. The salary offer will be contingent upon various factors, including but not limited to, relevant experience, internal equity, market data, job location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
