Overview

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of general construction project management in the commercial and/or retail real estate sector. Manages the construction process for new sauna studios nationwide, including schedule monitoring, project financials, coordinating activities of external vendors, managing the turnover process from construction through training, interface with Real Estate, Design, Permitting, Operations, and Facilities Management functions, as well as Landlords and external vendors and general contractors. Manage work order system, maintenance agreements, Ensures the timely completion of reactive, corrective, and preventative maintenance duties as assigned – providing customer service for studio employees. Experience and Knowledge of basic plumbing, carpentry, electricity, equipment mechanics. Natural problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities necessary. Mathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, variances, and reporting. Monitor efficiency of equipment, mechanical and electrical systems such as air conditioning controls/systems, lighting systems; repair and/or replacements to ensure proper operation and maximum efficiency. Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the development of construction planning and execution from concept to completion of buildout.
• Maintain oversight of General Construction cost control, invoicing, project budget and status, forecast projected spend.
• Monitor schedule and implement schedule acceleration strategies as necessary
• Assist in the development of short- and long-term capital improvement plans
• Maintain and enhance current preventative, routine, and corrective maintenance program
• Conducts site review / assessments, pre, during and post construction to ensure projects are built to desired quality

Experience & Educational Requirements

• Construction Project Management on Owner or General Contractor side
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience preferred
• Strong communication + problem-solving skills
• Procore or similar project management software experience
• Open wrench, Yardi, or similar work order / property management system experience required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related degree or equivalent experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
