Job Summary:

Based inMartin County, Fl we are seeking a dedicated, hard working, and reliable Construction Estimator to join our growing team. To succeed in this role, the candidate must be self motivated with the ability to work independently, organized, able to multitask, and has excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Review and evaluate cost estimates
• Monitor Demand Star for various projects to bid
• Understand scope of work to bid
• Manage bid pricing from all vendors
• Prepare cost analysis
• Ensure timely completion of estimates
• Coordinating staff and internal resources
• Managing project progress and adapt work as required
• Ensuring projects meet deadlines
• Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation
• Conducting project review and creating detailed reports for executive staff
• Optimizing and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong Microsoft skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to read architectural plans and develop cost estimates
• Excellent Oral and Written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and succeed without constant direction
• Self-Motivated
• Leadership skills
• Attention to detail
• Conflict Resolution skills

Experience:

• 3+ years in construction estimating
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Civil Engineering, Business, or related field preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
