Job description

HTI is currently looking for hydraulic testers to fill contract positions in Fountain Inn, South Carolina! Interested candidates should have prior manufacturing/assembly experience, 1 year of hydraulics or maintenance experience, and will need to pass a background check and drug screening. You must be willing and able to work 50 hours a week on a 12 hour shift (7p-7a). A $5000 completion bonus will be given if the 6 month assignment has been completed along with meeting the 50 hour a week requirement and prodution goals.

Job Summary of Hydraulic Tester

As a hydraulic tester you will run test units to match test specifications in the specific product group. This includes set-up of the unit on the test stand, correct adjustments, and final automatic test of the hydraulic units including evaluation of recorded test graphs and results.

Responsibilities of Hydraulic Tester

• Know and adhere to all Quality and particular Safety Standards
• Set-up and test product line units on the appropriate test stand
• Set, test, and verify pumps are to customer specifications
• Document discrepancies/quality issues per procedures
• Must use inspection equipment and gauges to verify product compliance
• Daily communication with team, collecting, and interpreting data
• Team orientated work with Assembly and Test team
• Communicate safety and quality concerns to lead and supervisor

Requirements of Hydraulic Tester

• Safety conscious, detail oriented concerning safety and quality
• Able to handle data entry tasks in SAP and other data processing systems
• Must exercise care in handling product to prevent damage to product
• Must be able to read and comprehend blue prints or other instructional material, in particular hydraulic circuits and its symbols
• Repeatedly lift up to 40 lbs
• Stand constantly, walk frequently, bend and stoop occasionally
• Good understanding of metric / SAE based systems (bolts)
• Experience in Test Operations / service / repair of hydraulic equipment or engines (like ag-equipment)

Familiar with system that measures multiple, dependent values that need to be adjusted to optimize overall performance

Pay: $32.00 per hour
