Job description
We are seeking cook/housekeeper to work at our Lisbon IRA.
Responsibilities include, following standard recipes, menus and preparing an coordinating shopping list, as well as preparing food for cooking and encouraging program members to participate in meal prep when appropriate.
He or she must also follow kitchen/extension sheets and demonstrates accuracy in weighing, measuring, and portioning food, operate cooking equipment and dishwasher according to instruction and in a safe manner, and follow proper procedures in cleaning and maintenance of equipment, cleanliness and satiation of the kitchen, storeroom, and related areas.
Other duties include overseeing daily and weekly ordering of and/or shopping for menu/meals/food items to include extra for snacks, nourishment, special activities, as well as performing housecleaning services in accordance with the facility’s specific schedule and following housekeeping policies and procedures.
