Hours:Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
Job Duties Include:You are required to package cookies with care..you are making bows, displaying the cookies in a pleasing way on platters and you are shipping cookies very carefully..its NOT your typical shipping/packaging job. Properly packaging cookie orders for in-store pick up (using one of the many appropriate Whimsy packaging methods), securely packing and shipping cookie orders nationwide, which encompasses working directly with the FedEx Ship Manager online program as well as UPS.Working hands-on with the Custom Order Associate to oversee the fulfillment of various cookie orders, and preparing different styles of cookie arrangements.Alerting the appropriate party of your packaging, wrapping, and shipping material inventory as to ensure operations flow smoothly.
This job is pivotal for the success of the Whimsy Cookie Company, as it is the Headquarter facility, and the only Whimsy location which will produce and ship elaborate custom cookie orders.Due to the high importance of this role, all tasks must be successfully completed in a timely manor as to meet our exceptionally high standards for customer service.
Required Skills:Ability to work calmly and efficiently in high-stress/ demanding situations, must be a team player and be flexible to change, ability to follow direction, have a positive working attitude, take pride in your work ethic and the Whimsy brand, very organized, good time management skills, and punctual.
Must have a general proficiency with computer skills as job entails sending emails and working with online shipment programs.The programs consist of, but are not limited to, creating shipping labels, tracking package status, scheduling future pickups, and pricing shipments.
Reliable vehicle required as occasional errands pertaining to the position will be expected.
Proof of US Citizenship required to be considered.
