The Society of the Little Flower, a faith-based non-profit organization working to promote devotion to Saint Therese of the Child Jesus, seeks a Coordinator of Internet Services to maintain and enhance website function, further online fundraising efforts, and support donor relations.
Working with members of the Internet team and reporting to the International Development Director, the position ensures SLF online properties thrive and evolve, supporting a wide range of audience and organizational needs while remaining engaging, usable and on-mission. Responsibilities include WordPress content management, WooCommerce cart management, multi-channel marketing efforts, and donor service.
Responsibilities
- Develop an online strategy that supports the Society's overall goals and oversee all aspects of its implementation, including coordination of materials and resources created by our third-party partners.
- Monitor website function and network with our technical partners to maintain smooth function of the site.
- Troubleshoot email marketing campaigns and resolve any issues with our email marketing service.
- Support the efforts of the department team including managing donor relations and donor retention.
- Assist in the execution of events on the Carmelite Campus in Darien.
- Alert leadership to emerging technologies or applications and the opportunities to integrate them into our other fundraising efforts such as direct mail, planned giving, and all online communication venues including social media and email outreach.
- Develop and manage the online budget, including website development and maintenance, outreach and promotion, personnel and operations.
Required Skills:
- 1+ years WordPress experience
- 1+ years project management experience
- 1+ years online nonprofit fundraising experience including donation strategy development, content acquisition, and website development
- Familiarity with WooCommerce ecommerce plugin
- Solid management experience and track record in motivating and building strong teams
- Experience enabling strong interdepartmental relationships
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Basic Adobe Photoshop & InDesign skills
- A deep understanding and appreciation of the Catholic Faith
