Job Description Summary:
The Copywriter for JOAH Beauty Brand Marketing (U.S.) will be responsible for driving and executing all product launches, positioning and marketing campaigns, and storytelling by researching, concepting, and writing copies for monthly 360 omnichannel plans with original ideas and creative input.
This role will be an amazing opportunity to shape and evolve the JOAH Beauty brand’s tone of voice and brand personality.
Job Description:
  • Write compelling, brand-right copy for a variety of brand needs, including primary and secondary packaging, retail signage, in-store and educational collateral, web product page content for brand site and retailer sites (including Amazon), FAQ copy, paid media, video/film scripts, social media, press mailers, emails, and samples.
  • Quickly develop a deep understanding of the JOAH beauty brand’s tone of voice, then develop an ability to craft copy that communicates unique product point of difference & key messaging in the brand voice.
  • Produce brand editorial and educational content for the website with knowledge and expertise in SEO
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality content that meets brand and business priorities
  • Concept core stories for product launches and existing product lines
  • Communicate a point of view on copywriting trends and actively bring those references and trends to the team
  • Review all copies to ensure accuracy and apply team’s feedback to deliver on brief.
Additional Job Description:
  • 5+ years experience in a writing role for an agency or in-house creative team
  • Preferred experience writing for eCommerce and social on cosmetics brands
  • Have experience and an understanding of the cosmetics industry
  • Personal love and passion for the cosmetics category
  • Talented writer and passionate storyteller who is an idea-generating machine
  • Able to communicate brand voice
  • Can work independently but also collaboratively
  • Works fast, able to adapt to changing business needs
  • Able to collaborate with the creative team to ensure quality as well as verbal and visual consistency
  • Is a stickler for details and deadlines
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to present and sell ideas to stakeholders in a compelling way
