SRS Distribution is the largest network of independent distributors in the U.S. We are looking for inquisitive, results oriented individuals interested in customized training & development within our Fleet and Vehicle Operations Department Your goal is to learn all aspects of our business, culture, and core values and help make impactful contributions to our growing organization as a Geotab Reporting Analyst.

The Geotab Reporting Analyst will perform various functions, including data collection and analysis to identify useful trends and process improvement with relevant information that will facilitate informed decision making. This position captures and documents requirements, creating documentation, incident-based troubleshooting of processes and systems, implementing improvements to current and future processes and systems, and providing broad-based support to key stakeholders.

Daily Tasks and Essential Functions:

• Work with the business teams you support to identify, document, and deliver required visualizations and reports that provide actionable insights.
• Use Airflow, Qlik, Python, SQL, Redash and Power BI to generate new data tables, visualizations, and reports that inform and influence the direction of our EV products and teams.
• Identify and correct data quality issues in our datasets and between integrated systems.
• Identify and communicate risks to the successful completion of the requested visualizations and work with our business and technical teams to resolve them.
• Conduct post-mortems with your internal customers to identify areas for improvement.
• Build and maintain the data visualization roadmap for our EV products and business teams.
• Maintain released pipelines and visualizations; resolving issues and change requests as required.
• Keep documentation up to date for all your areas of responsibility; specifically including documentation on how to read and understand the importance of each visualization and report.
• Conduct training sessions as required to enable others in the organization to create their own reliable visualizations and reports on data related to electric vehicles.
• Review any existing or new visualizations built by other team members for data quality.

Trainee Program Requirements:

• Currently hold or will obtain a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering or related field by August 2023.
• Experienced super user in Microsoft Suite.
• 2+ years experience using SQL is preferred
• 2+ years experience with data science tools Jupyter Lab, Python and Pandas
• 1+ years experience creating high quality dashboards and visualizations for internal consumption (Power BI)
• Experience with Jira, Geotab and Gitlab is an asset
• Familiarity with telematics, SAAS, and consumer based metrics
• Notable work experiences and ethic with exceptional references
• Proven team involvement and leadership skills in school and at work
• Candidates who have a valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, reliable transportation, are authorized to work for any employer without sponsorship in the US and will pass criminal and driving background check with a pre-employment drug test will be considered.
