Amerline Enterprises Company, an ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturer of electrical power connectors and wire harnesses, is seeking a Costing Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with hands on experience costing wire harnesses and cable assemblies. This individual will work with Engineering Manager, Sales Team, and Purchasing Department to develop price quotations for customer RFQ’s for wire harnesses/cable assemblies. Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards and knowledge of the industry is a plus. Full company benefits include medical insurance, 10 paid holidays, 401k, vacation, and sick time.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Evaluates production processes with Production Manager to determine efficiency of methods and updates manufacturing documentation accordingly
• Creates and updates BOMs and operation methods in ERP system (Epicor 10)
• Performs document control functions (creates and releases new drawings, updates document control logs, generates document packages for production)
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• Hands on experience with wire harnesses and cable assemblies
• Ability to read schematics and interpret customer drawings and specifications
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Experience with MS Office, ERP software, and AutoCAD or SolidWorks
• Must be organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to be flexible and open to wide variety of tasks and provide support when needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
