Job description
Job Duties:
Under the supervision of an independently licensed counselor, this position provides mental health counseling, skills building, and psychoeducation to consumers in the community setting (home, school, library, workplace, etc.) to help them to overcome obstacles, reach and maintain independence and stability, and achieve their goals.
Required Skills:

- Able to comfortably work with people from a number of different backgrounds
- Able to work as part of a collaborative team
- Able to give and receive constructive feedback
- Able to meet deadlines
- Able to complete documentation using an electronic medium (Word and internet based)
- Must be a self-starter, capable of managing your own schedule
Education Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelors degree in: counseling, social work, psychology, sociology; Masters degree preferred. (Please note, due to recent changes in regulations, only these degrees are accepted, there are no exceptions).
- Minimum 1 year experience working within the mental health population
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
