Responsibilities

• Work with Registered Dietitians to submit credentialing applications and maintain credentialing files and roster
• Review NCQA credentialing standards and update policies & procedures
• Maintain audit reporting updates & submissions, audit point of contact communications, and other requirements as required by the health plan delegation requirements
• Host the Credentialing Committee, document minutes, and provide updates to leadership on a regular basis
• Manage inbound Registered Dietitian applicant pipeline and coordinate with hiring manager to screen, interview, and select candidates
• Manage day-to-day onboarding process tasks, i.e., running and monitoring background checks, coordinating orientation, obtaining new hire paperwork, setting up new hires in all relevant systems, and ensuring all relevant policies are acknowledged
• Serve as point of contact for provider general questions

Requirements and Preferred Experience

• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to accomplish work independently
• Previous healthcare operations and credentialing experience
• Knowledge of credentialing processes and NCQA credentialing standards
• Ability to jump into different environments, adapt, and learn new skills and processes quickly
• Experience with healthcare technology platforms
• Active Registered Dietitian credentials (CDR) - strongly preferred

Scope and Location

• Part-time contract position
• Estimated 25-30 hours/week with opportunity to grow into a full-time role
• $25-$35 per hour depending on experience
• Remote work from any location in the U.S. or U.S. territories
