Description: Crisis Services Program Manager


We are looking for a licensed mental health clinician to manage United Way's crisis-related mental and behavioral health programs for adults and youth. This position plays a critical role within the state's health and human services infrastructure, managing mental health crisis services for youth and adults through a centralized contact center. This position also serves as the day-to-day contact between 2-1-1's crisis team and community-based providers.

What you will do

  • You will manage crisis-related behavioral health programs, providing training, coaching, and direct feedback to our talented team of crisis supervisors.
  • You will monitor calls for quality, identifying opportunities to raise the bar for 2-1-1 crisis services.
  • You will serve as the day-to-day contact between the 2-1-1 contact center and providers in the community.

When and where you will work

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday with occasional adjustments to your schedule to support the team during the night or weekend hours. We offer a hybrid work environment from home and from the office.

The Hours Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm

Please note that our team works 24/7 to cover all shifts including inclement weather and holidays.

Employment begins with approximately 8-weeks of training for all positions.

Training takes place Monday – Friday 8a – 4:30p regardless of shift selected.

After job training, position will be hybrid (in office and remote)

Requirements:

Who you are

  • You have a Master’s degree in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy or counseling.
  • You are licensed in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or counseling in the State of Connecticut.
  • You have experience delivering and overseeing community mental health services.
