Job Description:

• Keeps plant floor and main aisles clear of all debris; sweep floor; empty trash cans on plant floor into track compactor; and separate cardboard, poly, coil, plastic scrap, and set aside for bailing
• Assists with basic grounds upkeep as needed
• Performs all duties according to established safety and efficiency procedures and maintains workstation in a neat, clean and orderly fashion
• Provides basic maintenance support by making minor equipment repairs, cleaning and lubricating parts or equipment, assisting with light plumbing, replacing light bulbs, cleaning filters, and other preventive maintenance support
• Organizes and/or stock raw materials in the work area, follow departmental housekeeping requirements, and leave the work environment and equipment clean at the end of shift
• Maintains documentation as needed regarding work and maintenance performed

Experience/Education:

• Basic English reading/writing skills
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Must stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours per day or longer in overtime situations as required
• Must be able to lift heavy product or raw materials multiple times per hour (assisted lifts will be used for heavy items)
