Job description
As the Manager of Customer Account Management this person will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the CRM system, currently Salesforce. This includes updates, enhancements, building reports, managing dashboards, workflows, and security relating to Salesforce and its integration with our Business Intelligence Tools, and Great Plains Enterprise System. Being a Manager of Customer Account Management requires an advanced understanding of the end user’s usage of the system and the strategic sales goals to ensure a smooth sales workflow for both customers and team members.

Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and updating data in the CRM system to ensure accurate records of customer information
  • Organizing and updating customer databases that contain information such as contact details, purchase history and preferences
  • Troubleshooting and providing training to Salesforce users as required, to help expand knowledge and skills across the organization.
  • Work directly with CRO and Sales leaders to optimize information flow and analysis of each customer.
  • Optimize user functions including user accounts, report and dashboard development and maintenance, security configurations, permissions, workflows, and approval processes.
  • Working with sales leaders and key finance and accounting leaders create and execute configurations that support revenue priorities and initiatives.
  • Performing regular internal system audits to maintain accurate data
  • Developing reports that track customer activity over time to identify trends in behavior or needs that may indicate opportunities for improvement
  • Implement and maintain a customer rating scheme to identify new opportunities verse inactive accounts
  • Write ad hoc reports for analytics by vertical (i.e., Sports, Auto, Food & Beverage, etc.)

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or another related field required
  • 5 years+ experience as a CRM administrator preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Proven analytical, critical thinking, and conceptual skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards
