SUMMARY/ BASIC FUNCTION:

The basic functions for this position include the following and are specific to the Axchem USA group:

  • Direct customer support and interaction.
  • Direct Axchem employee/field sales support.
  • Direct interaction with internal and external suppliers.
  • Chemical ordering coordination.
  • Logistics coordination.

LOCATION: Commercial Office in Marietta, GA

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:

This position will report to the Axchem USA Office Manager while working within a team environment of his/her peers in a small office setting.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

Customer Service / Field Support:

  • General customer support functions as primary and/or secondary contact for customers' orders.
  • Ensures documentation conformity within the internal Omnis/AX operating system to follow orders from inception to final tracking of the delivery.
  • Works with other Axchem entities (i.e: Axchem Canada).
  • Works with other entities (i.e: the manufacturing locations).
  • Coordinates 3rd party freight quotes and/or works internally within logistics.
  • Monitor order tracking and compliance.

Field Representative Support:

  • Assign specific field representatives and their corresponding accounts for direct customer service.
  • Supports quality compliance.
  • Provides COA, SDS, and customer-specific documentation per request.

CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent experience is required.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of Industry, related expertise.
  • A minimum of 3 years of direct customer service experience.
  • A strong history of internal and external support functions.
  • Excellent written and organizational skills; Must be able to verbally communicate within a group or team environment.
  • Team-oriented and possesses the ability to interact with peers to gain their cooperation and respect.
  • Understand the use and need for external resources to support the company's core objectives.
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience a the intermediate to advanced level with a strong competency to interpret information and translate it for customer support and sales efforts.
  • Confident, bright, articulate, innovative, highly motivated, and self-starting with a high energy level and spirit of team effort and cooperation, and of the highest integrity.
