Era Living is seeking a full-time Customer Service Specialist to become the newest member of the Community Relations team at Ida Culver House Broadview, a beautiful retirement community /assisted living facility in North Seattle, WA. The Community Relations team is responsible for working with potential residents and their families who are looking for a retirement community. Together, they market the community through events and community outreach, use a consultative sales process, and provide strong customer service to potential residents and their families. The Senior Living Move Concierge will play an essential role in facilitating a smooth transition for new residents moving into our community.

Ida Culver House Broadview is close to several bus lines and has ample free street parking nearby. Available shifts will be scheduled Sunday through Thursday between 9:00am-5:30pm

Primary Responsibilities:

This role supports the Community Relations staff in answering phones, greeting potential residents and their families, and acting as a liaison between community members, employees, general public and administration.

  • Facilitates the move-in process with new residents, families and appropriate agencies, caseworkers, social workers, etc.
  • Support new residents prior to moving in with downsizing resources, as needed
  • Work with other departments to ensure apartment readiness for new residents
  • Be primary point of contact for new residents on the first day in the community and coordinate with other departments to help ensure every new resident feels welcomed and supported
  • Conducts tours, maintains relationships with potential residents, and generates interest in the community, as needed.
  • Maintains accurate and current information in customer relationship management (CRM) database. Responds to internet inquires, as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Computer literacy in Windows and Microsoft Office, required.
  • Well-developed communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Project management skills, a plus
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Ability to pass DSHS background check, required.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1-year office, sales, marketing, or customer service experience, preferred.
  • Experience with a CRM software would be a plus.
  • Must comply with the Washington State COVID-19 vaccination requirement for healthcare workers
