About the Opportunity
The Application Portfolio Management team has an immediate opening for multiple IT Analyst, Experienced positions, reporting to the Senior Manager responsible for FedAPM.
You will support the application portfolio management function of the FRS as well as the underlying Mega platform. APM is a solution to manage business applications and software-based services throughout the full system lifecycle for automated applications.
These positions will interact with various stakeholders, including product owners, subject matter experts, executives, vendors, operational users, and technical staff to analyze, elicit and document requirements associated with key initiatives, objectives and data. The positions are highly visible and require strong analysis and communication skills. Specific positions may focus on business analysis, technical analysis and data analysis. Skills for each will be reviewed for optimal fit with the team and its mission.
What You Will Do:

Performs complex analysis of business, technical and/or data issues utilizing established methodology and tools within technology areas.

Works with clients and other resources to assess current capabilities, identify customer needs and recommends business process improvements within technology areas.

Provides complex support and collaboration in completing analysis, providing ad-hoc reports, information or data mapping, and/or alignment of the business and related resources.

Leads and contributes to process improvement and solution discussions and presents outcomes and actionable recommendations to management
-
Develops and designs new business and technical processes and the elaboration and updating of existing business processes within technology areas.

Participates in cross-functional team initiatives and improvement projects within technology areas.

Qualifications/Education:
-
Preferred knowledge and fluency in the Mega platform, ServiceNow, SQL, Tableau, MS Excel, PowerBI, ODBC connections,

Data quality experience, software testing, process development

PMP, Agile or related certification preferred
-
Bachelor's degree required, Master’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
-
5-8 + Years of proven experience acting as a business, data or technical analyst on large complex initiatives

- The hiring range of the position is $73,000 – $91,300 annually.
- For candidates outside Richmond, VA, listed hiring and salary ranges may be adjusted based on your geographic location.
