Job Title: Data Entry Specialist

Summary

The data entry specialist reports to the Director of Art Consulting/Project Management. Duties will primarily include data entry for artwork inventory, artwork ordering, art vendor communication, inputting metadata, and inner office administrative tasks. This may include managing artwork shared files and artist database (excel and power point), as well as office supply ordering and other assigned administrative tasks. The data entry specialist utilizes our database operating system, excel spreadsheets, and power point presentations, as well as other duties as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Requires Major Data Entry – Artwork inventory, artwork metadata, artwork ordering, artist database
  • Check data entry and source documents for data accuracy.
  • Maintain data to meet project specifications in a timely manner.
  • Enter data from source documents into prescribed computer database files
  • Check completed work for accuracy
  • Interact with project management team and production to ensure adherence to client deadlines and proper procedures to procure and bill artwork
  • Maintain office equipment and office supplies assisting with administrative needs

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Education: minimally high school diploma
  • 1-2+ years of data entry experience
  • 1-2+ years of administrative/clerical experience
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook (required)
  • Accurate and proficient keyboard/typing skills to enter data accurately at the required speed
  • Thoroughness and Accuracy with data entry
  • Knowledge of grammar
  • Knowledge and/or experience with clerical and administrative procedures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
