The Senior Data Quality Application Developer for Data Governance is responsible for developing and implementing data quality protocols to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of an organization's data. They will work on designing, building, and implementing robust data governance procedures that facilitate data quality, consistency, and security. This role requires strong technical skills in data management, as well as experience with data governance software and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data quality and data management standards for an organization

  • Design and configure data quality rules that align with industry standards and policies

  • Create data quality dashboards, metrics, and reporting to monitor data quality across the organization

  • Provide support to business owners and stakeholders on data quality and data governance issues

  • Develop and maintain data lineage, metadata, and taxonomy for data governance and compliance tracking

  • Facilitate data issue resolution by working closely with data owners and stakeholders to identify root causes, recommend solutions and remediate data quality issues

  • Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance data quality and governance

  • Conduct data analysis and profiling to identify data quality issues, root causes, and remediation options

  • Work closely with data owners, data architects, and data stewards to ensure data governance policies are understood and adhered to

  • Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure data governance standards and best practices are followed

Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

  • 10+ years of experience in data quality, Data Management, Data Governance or related field

  • Advanced English level.

  • At least 5 years of experience with Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, ETL, and data profiling tools

  • Understanding of data governance frameworks, compliance regulations, and industry standards

  • At least 5 years of experience with data governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, IBM Information Governance Catalog, Talend, or similar platforms

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Supply Chain or Foundry.

  • Knowledge of big data platforms and cloud technologies is a plus

Working Model


This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
